What singles have you purchased lately?
When I was young and poor I never purchased singles. I mean who really did when vinyl went away and tapes and CDs were the dominant format for music? But now that I have an iPod I find myself purchasing single songs all of the time. Sure, I purchase albums at iTunes or Amazon still but it sure is nice to just get that song you gotta have for 99 cents. Anyway, here are a few of the singles I have purchased recently:
Broken Bells – The High Road (I caught this collaboration band on Jimmy Kimmel one night and had to get the song)
Carolina Liar — I’m Not Over (This band may be a one hit wonder but I like this one hit.)
Ringside — Struggle (A Pandora Radio find. I love this tune)
Bad Manners — Sally Brown (Perhaps the perfect ska song…)
Collective Efforts — Doin’ Alright (Another Pandora find that I love)
Feist — Mushaboom (Lots of cool chick singers on the scene these days)
Slightly Stoopid — Collie Man (Another Pandora find that I couldn’t get out of my head)
There are a lot more but I’ll save those for another post I think. So what singles have you liked enough to purchase recently? INCLUDE LINKS! We all want to hear what you are digging lately.

Reel Big Fish- Don’t Start a Band. It was used as an outro in a podcast I like. I had a few Reel Big Fish cds, but this song wasn’t on them.

I stopped buying songs on iTunes because I recently reformatted my computer and it won’t let me authorize my computer again, since I’ve already authorized it five times, or whatever. Too much of a hassle to figure out how to get it working again. Plus my husband’ unemployed so I wouldn’t be spending the money anyway.

That Ringside song is a great one. Raining Next Door, Spanish Faster, and Strangerman are also great songs by the same band.

and Bjork ft. Thom Yorke “Nattura”
I guess I don’t buy singles very much though. Besides these two, I see from my purchase history that way back in 2008 I got Weezer “Jamie” and Jump, Little Children “Cathedrals.”
Not to give her a big head or anything, but I’d say 90% of the new music I get is because I see it on Susan Ms blog or she mentions it here. She’s got good taste coming out the wazoo.
