I can’t tell if all that’s connected or not…if so, that’s pretty amazing. If not…still a cool concept. I love Rube Goldberg contraptions.
Apparently, this all worked as shown (three times!)and they got it all filmed essentially in one take. Pretty awesome. The previous dispute with their label over video embedding rights, however, is only going to get worse.
Awesome! I especially liked the big stuff: the piano, the car, the TV, etc.
That looked SO fun.
They always look like they’re having a blast in their videos. I love the one for Here It Goes Again with the treadmills, too.
Okay, when I saw the title of this post, I thought, “There’s no way OK Go could top their previous videos… they’re just going to start repeating themselves and it’s downhill from here.” But oh. My. Gawrsh.
Epic Win. I think this even beats the Mythbusters’s Rubes:)
I love that you can see the pile of broken tv’s in the background, and the overspray from previous attempts. My kids and I have watched this think a dozen times, and I really think it may have actually been one solid take.
You can see three camera guys in the reflection of the big silver ball inside the dark tunnel before it hits the TV.

Wiki says it was all shot it one continuous take- but it took 60 tries before it went off without a hitch!
I’m with S.P. Arranging dominoes to tip each other over is one thing, but dropping pianos and knocking over file cabinets is way cool.
I’ve got to try this with semi trailers and shipping containers.
I’m glad Greg posted that here. It rules.
I also love this video for the song.
Uh, we already talked about that, Dude. Try to keep up.
Duh MCQ. That’s the post that made me aware of the other version of the video. (But someone needed to link to it here, right?)
