  1. Kittens are fine and cute and all, but they grow up into cats, whereas puppies are equally fine and cute, but grow up into dogs. Plus, my mom is deathly allergic to cats but not to dogs. So with cats, my mom doesn’t visit. With dogs, there’s nothing standing in her way.

  2. Kittens are fluffy and cute and funny and heartwarming and adorable and give you hours of delight and joy.

If you’re lucky, puppies will eventually learn to poop on the newspaper.

  3. i’m with sam. kittens are cute, but they eventually turn into cats and there are few things i dislike more than cats.

  4. Kittens come pre-housetrained.

  5. PUPPIES!!!

They are cute and loving and won’t leave you alone and explore everything and sniff everything and they’re clumsy and dopey and funny and then, best of all:

They grow up and become your very best friend, your baby sitter, your jogging and hiking companion, your yard-work pal, your warm furry nap buddy, your protector, your alarm clock, your house alarm, the guy who always answers the door for you, and the guy that never forgets to tuck the kids in at night.

Kittens are cute and then they grow up. The end.

    No comparison.

  6. BTW, if you’re wondering why your dog isn’t as cool as mine, you just need to get a Berner.

  7. Puppies are great. Kittens are dicks.

(For the record, I have both dogs and cats and love them both)

  8. This one is hardly even worth polling!

  9. “puppies… grow up into dogs.”

And that, my friend, is the problem. I can handle puppies. Dogs I can’t stand. The stupid barking, endless crotch-sniffing, crapping all over everything inside and out… Plus I’m allergic, and New Yorkers seem to think that dogs should be taken inside small public spaces instead of tied up outside.

Some people feel the same way about their children. Can you imagine?

  11. Wait, you are asking which is more delicious, right?

No? I need to change my vote then.
