I though Women's Murder Club was just a miniseries based on the Patterson books. Not that I ever even watched it to find out. The books are lackluster, can't imagine the show would be much better.
I'm pretty happy to see Eli Stone coming ack, as I just recently discovered it online and want to add it to my list of shows to try and remember.

I bought the seasons of Smallville on DVD, at least the first three. What I got tired of was the constant soap opera relationship between the characters. The parts were Clark could use his powers were enjoyable, and I felt they did a good job in delving into the problems of secret identities and superpowers. I stopped with Season Three. I have heard from some that I should continue on.

Smallville was great for the first two seasons, as he seemed to discover an ability for every 2 episodes. And, the initial friendship with Lex was a fresh idea, and it was well played.

However, there was too much with the space rocks, too many people affected by it, that it soon become a knock-off on Xfiles.

The show lost me by the third season and I haven't looked back.

Season 4 of BSG has been painfully slow...

I think I tried watching in the second season. There was a cylon who didn't know she was a cylon and was going crazy, or something? I don't remember.

Abby, one of the reasons I saw Cheaper By the Dozen in the theater was Tom Welling was in it.

Susan M,

The first season of BSG was incredibly intense. It is possible that you had to see it from the start in order to for that vibe to carry over from episode to episode, but it was anything but slow. Unfortunately, at some point they lost their way.

I stopped watching Smallville years ago (it's still on?) when I realized they were never going to have him fly. Isn't it part of the contract they had with whoever owns the rights that he's not allowed to fly? Is he allowed to put on the cape?

He is the hottest thing to ever be on tv, though, next to John Schneider, and when they were both on the show...mmmmm. Dream city.

Women's Murder Club was up there on my list of so-horrible-it's-awesome crime dramas, but I never really watched it much. I like that actress though and want her to come back on something else.

I tried watching BSG once, years ago, and it was painfully slow and boring. And this is from someone who loves slow, boring movies/shows. I later saw a recap they did of an entire season and thought it was pretty good, but it confirmed my impression that the show was unbearably slow. (I was hoping they'd keep doing the recaps every year and I wouldn't have to watch each episode.)

October Road was awful. The dialogue was so painful, I'm not sure what to think of the people actually putting pen to paper for that.

I liked Women's Murder Club, so I'm a little sad about that. Not surprised. Just sad.
