Who is Kaito? (The one talking to Victoria in 1977)

The recap makes it sound like he's Hiro's dad, but it didn't really look like George Takei (as he did at his wife's funeral)

Is it possible then that the people in The Picture are not necessarily all heroes with powers? Maybe they're all Company people, some have powers (Evil Ned, Parkman Sr., Linderman) others are just powerful or connected people. Hmmm. Is this common knowledge (and I'm as slow as Niki)?

Any speculation on the two heroes that will fall next episode?

Wish: Niki and Maya (also, nonHero Sylar)
Probable: Nathan (what has he done this season?) and Maya (post-Sylar encounter)

On the other hand NBC just ordered up a full 22 episodes for Chuck. Does this mean the strike may be nearing an end? (And maybe that's why ABC is advertising Lost?)

I know that the Lost producers were fighting to keep lost whole as ABC promised. But I've been seeing trailers on ABC for Lost starting in February. It seems to me that the networks are planning on maintaining the strike through the spring. (At least that is the appearance from what I can see - someone correct me if I'm wrong) So we'll probably get a shortened disjoined Lost as well.

The scenes with the cheerleader and flying boy make my skin crawl.

Kill the cheerleader, save the show.

Otherwise things seemed pretty interesting. I really don't think Hiro is going to be slicing off Petrelli's head ... so I'm not sure what that scene is all about.

An other very good episode. (Other than the idea that Hiro and Peter fight without anyone giving time to explain themselves) Plus Peter seems terribly naive.

But overall very good. I'm glad it's finally got back on track. (Enough to get Steve writing again) Too bad the writers strike probably means next week is the last episode for the year.
