I’ve spliced together clips of songs to see how many you can all identify. This week’s clips are all of a brand I like to think of as “cheeserock.” Yes, that means mostly 70′s/80′s stuff.
I’ll give you a day or two to make your guesses, then I’ll post the answers. There are clips from 18 songs this time.

I don’t know #4, and #8 is “Hot Blooded.”
Nothing to add. Except that #4 is “Soda” by the eminent Kim Mitchell!
GnR counts as a cheesy rock song?
I’d grant you most of the others except perhaps Ozzy’s. But that one doesn’t seem that cheesy.
Dude. GnR is as cheesy as they come. “You’re gonna DIE!”
And “Momma I’m Coming Home” is only surpassed, Ozzy-cheese-wise, by his duet with Lita Ford.
My only complaint?
Sister Christain should have been last. (Superstar!)

I originally had Sister Christian last, but I recently obtained a few more songs I wanted to tack on, so just be thankful you got Def Leppard.
Number 5 is Quiet Riot-Metal Health (Bang Your Head).
I’m sorry to see that Cinderella, Poison, Skid Row, White Lion, or Winger didn’t make the list.
I’m sorry to say I don’t own any Winger or White Lion.
I’m sorry to say I do have the others.
We just called them “Wing Lion Snake”…

Perhaps “The Final Countdown” or “Jump” would have come to me if I had thought a little harder. The tunes were familiar enough.
I’d like to say this must mean I’m not very cheesy, but then I haven’t done so well on most of the other “Name These … Tunes”, did I?
