Cinemasochist poll: Pirate Movies
Now is the time to foist on me your wretched cinematic refuse.
UPDATE: Voting’s over! Looks like I’ll be watching The Pirate Movie. Thanks for nothing, you jerks!

I’m writing the producers of “Cabin Boy” to inform them they didn’t make the bottom three. I’m sure they’ll be thrilled.
ugh, there are no winners here. My wife was telling me last night that she loved The Pirate Movie when she was a kid. Spousal abuse has never seemed more justified.
I can’t believe I’ve actually seen all three of these.
For what it’s worth, Cutthroat Island is probably the least bad of the three. Although it lost the most money.
Pirate Movie! Pirate Movie!
All three make me shiver me timbers.
I still love the Pirate Movie!
You’ll watch it. And then feel embarrassed because it’ll be the best hour and a half you’ve had in a long time. Faux Cinemasochist.
I’m “regretting” that no one mentioned SPEED 2: CRUISE CONTROL.
WOW! Good call, SG. That had maybe the most preposterous ending of any action movie ever. And that’s saying a lot. Jan de Bont’s career was killed much like Harrison Ford’s after 6D7N. Lesson: Don’t do a pirate movie. (Unless your Johnny Depp).
Of the three listed I’ve only seen Six days and Seven Nights–well only half of it, actually. Couldn’t stand it. I turned it off half way thru–not sure how I made it that far to tell you the truth.
How about “Krull” or “Dune?”
